| Background: |
Designed in 1891, the Mosin Nagant is a venerable, reliable, and common bolt action rifle. Surplus rifles are plentiful and are generally in good condition, though a poorly maintained one is barely worth keeping as a club. Be careful, this rifle takes a long time to cycle, has a small magazine, and is incredibly loud. Will clearly give away the user's position to anyone within several hundred yards. The rudimentary sights don't lend to extreme accuracy, but scopes can be found to extend the rifle's effective range. |
